Disappointing enough turn out by the 12 county blue army yesterday. Maybe it was the clash with El Classico del norde (bohs v rovers)?

I’d say the weather played a bigger role.

As mentioned in the match thread we still got the largest crowd of the weekend despite the weather. Strange seeing the North and South stands closed like that, it wouldn't be a regular occurrence like it is elsewhere to close two ends of the ground.

2 exiles extending their contracts with the Franchise.
Good luck to Loughman and Conway.
Interesting stats on Conway at Munster:
Appearances-124
Tries- 42 (third-highest try-scorer of all time)
Winners Medals- 0 (fcuk all)-he won 2 in his last 8 days at Leinster, just sayin, like.
You know I'm going to lose,

But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Three year deal is great for him - takes him past his 30th birthday and gives him confidence that he is central to plans. Playing great rugby at the moment.

Loughman has impressed me since moving to Munster. He's got a run of games and looks the part. Don't think he'll be an international but definitely a solid pro.

Carbery is going to undergo surgery on his ankle [source: https://www.rte.ie/sport/rugby/2020/022 ... e-surgery/ ].

He had surgery on the ankle prior to the World Cup [on 12 Aug, according to this article by Fanning: https://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/ ... 10393.html ] and his first game back was approx. 6.5 weeks later on 28 Sep, against Japan. He played 65mins total in RWC19 over three games.

He didn't play again until 28 Dec, 13 weeks later. He played the next week against Ulster [03 Jan] and suffered wrist damage, for which he underwent surgery between 6-8 Jan [source: https://www.skysports.com/rugby-union/n ... st-surgery ], with a timeline for recovery of 2-4 months [9-18 weeks, which seems a very wide timeframe].

About 7 weeks into this recovery period [25 Feb], it has been announced that he'll undergo his third surgery of the season. F*cking misery. I feel for the lad.

Bearing in mind Munster were in Northern Italy last weekend it will make for interesting scrums on Saturday.

I would not fancy a Munster prop blowing in my ear at the best of time but imagine.

Scarlets' second row sent off for throwing two punches. Idiotic.

It was, but it livened up a tough watch. Conditions very difficult.

It being played behind closed doors because of the coronavirus hasn’t helped.

A man from China wouldn't recognise this is being played under the same rules we played last night. The only similarity is the grass.

Still the points stands, we're hardly full to the rafters ourselves, in a far bigger and more condensed market, and with an exciting team playing great rugby.
