Kelleher, Keenan and Kearney (Bob)?
Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat 29th 19:35
They can rest during the Heineken Cup weekends.Blueberry wrote: ↑August 24th, 2020, 9:30 pmI think they should get a walkover win v Connacht to prep for the game, it's only fair......mildlyinterested wrote: ↑August 24th, 2020, 5:44 pm I would hope so, but given the need by many for Munster to have every chance against us I wouldnt be surprised to see it delayed to the saturday.

Reckon Penny might get bench if Leavy still not ready?
Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat 29th 19:35
Really interested to see how Ross Byrne goes in this and in particular how we use his boot in an attacking sense.
Our new found desire to put sneaky kicks in behind should suit his skillset.

A player I’d really like to see get 20-30 mins this weekend is Dan Sheehan.
He’s very highly rated in Leinster. Looking forward to seeing him playing for the senior team sooner rather than later.

Tracy has yet to play and is far more likely to get minutes off the bench..elephantman wrote: ↑August 26th, 2020, 12:18 pm A player I’d really like to see get 20-30 mins this weekend is Dan Sheehan.

Sheehan is for the future, not the present.

Ulster are in the SF's regardless of what happens. I'd be very surprised if they put out such a strong team.
Very Intrested to see how Keenan and Kelleher go on the wings. I still think Kelleher can kick on and become an important player for us. Frawley at 12 is another intresting selection if it all pans out.

The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat 29th 19:35
I don't think we are blessed with a lot of other options at Ulster so I think that's pretty much the side we will end up with . I thought our replacement props did pretty well against Connacht so i'd expect them to get at least a half. I think Marcel will probably start but get subbed pretty early, with maybe Timoney coming on. Second row is a problem area for us with Henderson not available - I'd want Carter protected for the upcoming games. For all the decent centres and prospects we have in the squad, hardly any are available so McCloskey has to play again.Cianostays wrote: ↑August 26th, 2020, 2:46 pm Ulster are in the SF's regardless of what happens. It's a game I don't think many Ulster fans are looking forward to. It's pointless in the sense that both teams have nothing to play for. Having lost against Connacht, Ulster really could do with building a bit of a head of steam up to get into the next few games which are actually important but playing v Leinster in the Aviva isn't really a place to build momentum because (a) we usually get mullered and (b) when we do run you's close, the butchers bill is always massive.

Would be good to see Madser get a start in this.
