Great episode, lads. Blues Talk TV: the thinking man's rugby podcast - diseased students running wild, North Korea involvement in Welsh rugby, Bet Lynch, greed/avarice, the future of television etc. etc. along with illuminating insights into the state of global rugby. Fair play!!!

Dave's joke re Sale & covid was a zinger and had me chuckling. I actually managed to catch the Ulster vs Benetton match. The Italians were very good - abrasive up front and prepared to give it a go with ball in hand. They were 14-0 down after 20 mins and still managed to go in at half time 14-17. Ulster were able to overpower them in the second half, but I still think we'll be doing very well to get out of Treviso with a win.

p.s. Jack McGrath and Marti Moore both had good games and will have forced themselves in Faz mór's squad calculations, IMO.

.... and Trump's tackle
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Great stuff as ever lads. The "sonic boom heard in Galway"!!! Gas. Ar aon nós am in total agreement a: that the penalty kick option should have been taken at the end of the first half of Ireland vs France and b: that Harry Byrne is currently the heir apparent to J10. Great performance vs Glasgow from him. Even those two kicks straight out - one of which was under extreme pressure - only missed the last bit of pitch by a very small amount. Don't really understand Faz mór bringing Billy Burns into the squad for the Nations Cup. Think RDS and Lansdowne Road have decided to allow him to string a series of starts in blue in the Pro 14 and see how he gets on. It's probably the best way to allow him to prove himself worthy of a squad place in the Heino in the New Year.

Great stuff as ever, lads. Could've been penalised a couple of times for crossing though... Whether or which in agreement with all points made, in particular re the Stockdale experiment at 15 - it's over - and the glorification of "hits" - it needs to stop.
