I suppose while it was frustrating and we were pants if it wasn't for two Tadhg Beirne steals we would have walked home comfortably.

What do Donald Trump and Munster have in common?

I thougt that was one of the best performances by Henshaw in a long time. Gave us go forward ball on countless occasions.

Best bit of the game for me, and yes this is petty: Whoever the Leinster player was that screamed when Beirne knocked on, it was deserved after his dramatics after the turnover.

Love being able to hear the players, one of the pillars at a late ruck when Casey came on shouting that he was left footed showed great intelligence.

Agree on the James Ryan, Henshaw & Keenan praise, but Porter deserves a mention. The tackle impacts he was having after playing the full 80 was incredible. Very few tight heads in the world can keep up that level of performance. Was man of the match for me.

Edit: Looked up the stats there. 24 tackles is unreal for a TH.

Agreed the number of balls we kicked away.....when we were making yards easily. I know we scored off a grubber and brilliance from Keenan but so many long mindless kicks at other times.

@CianTracey1
Munster failed to score in 74 minutes of last season’s semi-final defeat.

Munster failed to score in 68 minutes of tonight’s defeat.

You’re never going to beat a team like Leinster with stats like that.

I thought the exact same.

He was giving it the big un' after the turnover.

Tail firmly back between his legs after the knock on.

It always surprises me how good it feels to beat Munster. As I'm typing this Tommy Bowe just said "Munster did everything right but managed to lose that game" and Gordon D'Arcy stood quietly beside him as a little knowing grin spread across his face. Barely discernible, but, like me, I think D'Arce enjoyed that win (and others against Munster) with equal parts joy, relief, and schadenfreude.

Pretty clear that the lineout for our try was crooked imo.

But Marshall got away with another in the first half.

Also not sure how Brace didn't give a pen for that late hit on Daly. No malice in it but clear contact with the face.

I thought the Cronin 'on arms' was fine personally, he made an attempt. Marshall could've been yellowed but he did slip too.

Its funny how often these derby games in many sports conform to the tropes, a lot of hype that isn't matched by a tight game where the better performing team loses and a player having a bit of a 'mare wins the game by doing a magic

Our engine room was really good today.

Ryan & Fardy both had good games and Molony good coming in too.

Doris/Rhys were quiet enough. Thought Connors had a good game though. Huge energy and some nice carries.

How good is Hugo Keenan's balance by the way. He's so good at picking up bouncing balls in difficult scenarios. Really good skill to have.
